What the Carbyn app is
Carbyn is a field tool for skilled trades teams in manufacturing, HVAC, electrical, and equipment service. Ask Cortex, the AI assistant built into the app, about the equipment you work on. It searches your organization's manuals, service bulletins, and past repair records, then answers with its sources cited. You can type or talk. Record your work with Capture (voice or video) and it becomes a step-by-step procedure. Everything lands in your Library, organized by equipment and shared only inside your organization.
Getting an account
There is no sign-up screen in the app. That's intentional. Carbyn is deployed by organizations under a service agreement, and accounts are issued by your organization's administrator.

Frequently asked questions
I can't log in, or I forgot my password.
First, double-check that you're using the email address your organization's admin used to create your account. If you still can't get in, or you need a password reset, contact your admin or email support@carbyn.ai and we'll sort it out.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, open the Profile tab, scroll to Danger zone, and tap Delete account. Type DELETE in the confirmation field to enable the button, then confirm. This permanently deletes your account, and your personal data is removed from our systems within 90 days, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can also email us and we'll process the deletion for you.
How is my data used?
Your questions, captures, and procedures stay within your organization's account. We do not sell your data. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
Who can see what I capture?
Only members of your organization. Procedures and documents are never public and are never shared across customer organizations.
What devices are supported?
iPhone running iOS 16.4 or later. The app is free to download; access requires an account issued by a Carbyn customer organization. Currently available in the United States.

Email support@carbyn.ai with a few lines about your team and equipment, and we'll set up a conversation with sales.
